The 21st Annual Big Sur Jade Festival will be held at Pacific Valley School, located 60 miles south of Monterey, 40 miles north of Cambria on beautiful Hwy. 1, across from Sanddollar Beach, in the Los Padres National Forest.

This event is a benefit for the Pacific Valley School PTO and the South Coast Community Land Trust.
The Big Sur Jade Festival features jade and other lapidary arts by artists from all across the USA, Canada, and New Zealand

It is one of the largest lapidary shows of it's type in the world.

The festival also features selected vendor art, fine food and 3 days of live entertainment.

This year Marina Shoupe will put on a presentation of a video she produced which features Deborah Wilson on "Carving a Jade Bangle", Sat and Sun. 2-4

David has had to CANCEL due to illiness but hopes to return next year and sends his best to all in the Jade community

David Fredericks, world-renowned author of TimelessJade.com, will be back by popular demand for the 20th Annual Big Sur Jade Festival.

David will put on a two-hour microscopic, interactive display of jade and jadeite artifacts and specimens for those who attended the event.

The microscopic investigation will be presented each day of the festival.
Along with specimens from around the globe, the public was invited to bring a few of their own items about which they were curious.
